Goal:  Learn how to make beeswax wraps.

 

Materials:

Pinking shears

Grater.

Beeswax                                                                                

Square cotton fabric.

Oven.

Baking tray.

Tin foil.

 

Steps:

1  Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

2 Use pinking shears to cut a 30 by 30 cm piece of cotton fabric large enough to fit your sandwiches.

3 Grate beeswax into an eco-friendly bowl.  

4 Line baking tray with tin foil.  

5 Place fabric on your baking tray.  

6 Sprinkle grated beeswax on fabric.

7 Put a tray in the oven and wait until the beeswax has melted.

8 Take baking tray out of the oven.   

9 Once out of the oven immediately take the fabric off the tray.

10 Walk outside and put the fabric in the wind to dry the wax.
There you have it, your amazing beeswax wraps are done. You can use them for covering every food except meat.
