Spring has sprung,
The proof is all around us.
Newborn lambs frolicking and grazing,
Everyone is happy.
Beauty all around us,
In blossoming plants and joyful creatures.
Winter is gone but the frost still lingers,
Followed by sun to remind us Summer is coming.
But now it’s spring, full of life, beauty and hope.
Bang, then colour, fireworks explode in the sky.
Fireworks are like Spring itself,
Silent then bursting with colour and beauty.
The sizzling of a barbecue
Fills the air with a great aroma.
Spring has sprung!
Soon will come Summer
And the proof will be in the berry pudding!
