The Karearea is an endemic NZ  bird

 

A karearea is a big fierce hunter. They’re white and fluffy brown and as. They have  got sharp eyesight and they also have white dots on them 

 

The Karearea lives in dry grassland. They like hunting and flying around. they are mostly found in the North Island of NZ.

 

Karearea find female karearea then mate for life then lay eggs.

 

Karearea eat kereru, lizards,  grasshoppers, little rabbits, big insects and medium-sized birds.

Karearea are fierce hunters and powerful birds and sometimes get up to the speed of 100 /km/h. Males weigh 350 grams while the females weigh 7.

 

I like the karearea because of its hunting.
